A temporary full-time role has become available within an Ipswich based business for an experienced Administration and Accounts Officer. The role will require flexibility to work from either 8:30am – 4:30pm or 9:00am – 5:00pm. Duties will include:

  • Providing a range of administrative support functions in a high volume work environment to support a team of three
  • Answering phones and handling enquiries
  • Collecting and distributing mail
  • Maintaining office supplies and filing systems
  • Administer and maintain the database
  • Processing and recording invoices and setting up new suppliers
  • Assisting with end of month accounts processes including reconciliations and journal entries
  • Data entry for timesheets and providing payroll support as required
  • Provide relief back up support for weighbridge operations if/when required (during periods of unplanned leave)

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in administration and accounts processing (debtors and creditors)
  • Previous data entry and payroll experience (advantageous)
  • Experience in an aligned role
  • Fast and accurate data entry
  • Flexibility with work hours
  • Experience using a finance/ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics, desirable)
  • Ability to work autonomously and also as part of a small team
  • Proven time management skills with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities
