A temporary role has become available within a highly reputable organisation for an experienced Compliance Administrator, located in Salisbury QLD. Working 2 days/per week, the role will be responsible for:

  • Checking, storing and associated data entry related to driver’s weekly paperwork for transport compliance purposes
  • Maintaining records as required for modules of accreditation under the NHVAS and National Heavy Vehicle Law (NHVL) including vehicle registers, drivers lists, current licenses and driving history, training and medical records, quarterly compliance reporting and annual internal review
  • Liaising with the NHVR/TMR and/or auditors for accreditation purposes on behalf of the business
  • Maintaining records in relation to subcontractors and their Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance under HVNL
  • Receiving and actioning non-conformance reports and accident/incident reports (including liaising with all stakeholders to ensure appropriate investigation and documentation)
  • Assisting with the development of toolbox talks, newsletters and other forms of communication to promote compliance and address identified training needs
  • Co-ordinating driver medicals and random alcohol and drug testing
  • Providing other transport companies with required compliance documentation and facilitating subcontractor audits with these companies as required

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • At least 2 years transport industry experience in a similar role or other transport compliance experience (e.g NHVR)
  • Adequate knowledge of NHVAS, HVNL, CoR and how these interact for transport compliance
  • Experience using LogChecker or similar software (for Fatigue Management compliance)
  • Experience using Gearbox or similar software (for NHVAS Mass/Maintenance Management compliance)
  • Ability to work unsupervised and take responsibility for tasks
  • Ability to prioritise and manage shifting deadlines
  • A good team player and able to effectively communicate with others
  • Ability to work in a blue-collar environment
