Our client is part of a large well-established global business. We are seeking Experienced Diesel Fitters and a Leading Hand to join their newly completed workshop based in Rocklea. These positions are permanent with overtime and penalties applicable. Looking to start asap, working day shift, Monday to Friday early starts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Workshop based
• Diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, fuel systems, cooling systems.
• Performing regular servicing, lubrication, and preventative maintenance.
• Responding to breakdowns on-site.
• Testing engine performance, rebuilding engines and repairing parts when required.
• Using specialized tools and mechanical equipment to solve problems.
Requirements:
• Qualified Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle
• Experience in the maintenance and repair of trucks, forklifts, and plant equipment.
• HR driver license is required, Forklift ticket is desirable.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skill
