A permanent full-time opportunity has become available for a Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This role plays a key part in financial reporting, compliance, and business partnering across multiple entities within the group. Reporting to the Accounts, Finance & Administration Team Leader, you will work closely with the Group Corporate Accountant and broader finance team to support accurate, timely, and efficient financial operations across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain weekly cash flow forecasts, working capital funding, and FX exposure reporting.
- Oversee daily MRP processes and monthly ERP inventory module close.
- Manage general ledger accounts, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Support monthly financial reporting and prepare Board-level reports.
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and Capex system, including depreciation.
- Calculate intercompany loan interest across subsidiaries.
Compliance & Taxation
- Prepare BAS, FBT, ABS, and other statutory returns for review.
- Assist with annual tax returns and liaise with external tax advisors.
- Support external audit processes and ensure compliance requirements are met.
Budgeting & Process Improvement
- Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-5 years’ experience as management accountant ideally in distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in multi-entity environments, including foreign subsidiaries exposure (ideally but not essential)
- ERP system experience (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations).
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial analysis and modelling.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to investigate variances and drive improvements.
- Proven stakeholder engagement with senior finance leaders and external auditors.
- High attention to detail with strong commercial awareness.
- Collaborative, proactive team player with strong communication skills.
