- Conduct repairs, builds and maintenance on fleet equipment.
- Perform MIG welding and other welding processes to Australian Standards
- Prepare materials for fabrication, including marking out, measuring, and setup
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe workshop environment
- Work collaboratively with production, QA, and supervisory staff to meet repair and maintenance schedules
- Willing to travel within shire to attend to work
Skills and Experience Required:
- Qualified Boilermaker/Fabricator.
- Experience with structural steel and aluminum.
- MIG and TIG welding skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
What the Company Offers:
- Competitive pay: Up to $60.00 plus per hour plus superannuation.
- Opportunity for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.
- Opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement.
- Supportive team environment where expertise makes a real impact.
- Comprehensive on-the-job training in safety and work procedures.
Initially, this is a temporary opportunity; however, for the right candidate, there is potential to transition to a permanent position.
