A temporary assignment has become available in the Ipswich area with a Qld Government Department for an experienced AO6 Project Coordinator.  The Department supports the development and delivery of innovative education and training initiatives aimed at addressing critical workforce skill gaps in Health Care and Support. This temporary assignment will be providing part-time support for 11 hours per week, as a result of a job share opportunity, for 3 months with a high possibility of future extension opportunities.

About the Role

  • The Project Coordinator manages key projects, stakeholder relationships and operational functions to ensure high‑quality outcomes.
  • Manage and prioritise the strategic and operational aspects including the preparation of reports, spreadsheets, planning documentation and other written correspondence utilising a range of computer software packages.
  • Work with regional staff and stakeholders to identify project needs, analyse requirements and develop action plans.
  • Monitor progress through performance indicators, quality records and regular reporting to management.
  • Contribute to quality improvement, organisational development and cultural transformation initiatives.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • High‑level analytical, conceptual and problem‑solving ability.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork in project support.
  • Demonstrated success in project development, implementation and evaluation.
  • Confidence learning and using new technology, including proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
