  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm

A permanent opportunity is available for an experienced Freight Administrator to join a well-established manufacturing organisation based in Parkinson. This role will suit a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys supporting freight, purchasing, and a broad range of administrative functions that contribute to the overall efficiency of the business.

Our client is a long-standing manufacturer operating within a specialised industrial sector, supported by a well-established international supply network and multiple operational sites across Australia. The business is recognised for its commitment to quality, reliability, and exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day administrative tasks including email correspondence, freight quotations, overseas documentation, and order confirmations
  • Preparing and issuing overseas purchase orders
  • Producing weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Maintaining accurate product records, updating pricing, and supporting stocktake activities
  • Liaising with suppliers and freight providers to support timely order fulfilment
  • Communicating with interstate offices across NSW, SA, and VIC
  • Providing support to the accounts team with payroll and AR/AP functions as required
  • Completing association administration tasks

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in freight administration, logistics, or a related role
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (experience with Attache and Powerlink is advantageous)
  • A professional, cooperative approach with the flexibility to support cross-functional teams
