A permanent full-time opportunity has become available with a true market leader in the training industry. This role is an excellent fit for experienced administrators as well as entry-level candidates or school leavers who are eager to learn, build workplace skills and start a long-term career in a supportive environment. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

At the Milton Head Office— the central hub of Blue Dog Training operations—your professional and friendly approach will be valued as you undertake a variety of reception and administrative duties, including:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for clients, visitors and staff, providing a warm and professional welcome
  • Managing incoming telephone enquiries, directing calls and taking accurate messages
  • Co-ordinating meeting room bookings and assisting with meeting/function preparation
  • Managing stationery and office consumable supplies
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks such as data entry, word processing, spreadsheets, mail and recordkeeping

To be considered for this position, you may be an experienced receptionist/administrator — or a motivated school leaver or entry-level candidate looking for your first office role.

You will bring:

  • Warm, engaging communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus
  • A highly self-motivated, well-organised approach to work
  • Fast and accurate keyboarding skills
  • Confidence learning and using technology (including MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • A team-focused mindset, with the ability to take ownership, show initiative and follow through
  • Eligibility to obtain a Working with Children Suitability Card (Blue Card)
