We are urgently seeking a reliable and safety conscious Asphalt Labourer to join our temporary civil works crew working on local road infrastructure projects in the Ipswich area. This is casual assignment but is a great opportunity to work with a well-regarded and experienced team.
🚧 About the Role:
- Undertake general roads and drainage labouring duties including site prep, asphalt laying, raking, and site clean-up
- Monday to Friday roster with early starts and an RDO every fortnight
📌 What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in asphalt or civil labouring (including working in proximity to traffic)
- MR Truck Licence (ideal but not mandatory)
- Construction Industry White Card
- An appropriate level of physical fitness for the work being performed
- Strong reliability, work ethic and commitment to safety, with proven ability to follow directions and work as part of a team (supported by references)
- Availability to start ASAP
- Please note that any offer of employment will be subject to a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screening) and due to nature of the work and mandatory PPE requirements, you must be willing to participate in face-fit testing of P2 respirator prior to commencement.
💰 What’s on Offer:
- $38.52/hour to $43.08/hour (casual) + superannuation (dependent on experience)
- Local Ipswich-based work (Riverview)
- Approximately 6 weeks of work, may extend
- Work with a supportive and experienced crew
