We are seeking multiple experienced and motivated Field Workers (Asset Maintenance) to join a busy Local Government team based at the Yamanto Depot. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a genuine work/life balance with a 4-day working week while contributing to the maintenance and improvement of community parks, facilities, and public assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general asset maintenance across Council parks and facilities.
- Undertake retaining wall repairs and minor concreting works.
- Construct, repair and maintain minor structures including fences, shelters and retaining walls.
- Conduct inspections of park equipment and Council assets, reporting maintenance requirements.
- Carry out basic horticultural activities including turf maintenance, weed and pest control.
- Undertake other related maintenance tasks as required.
Mandatory Requirements
- Current C Class Driver Licence.
- General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) White Card.
- Demonstrated experience undertaking general civil construction duties or hardscape maintenance.
- Ability to successfully complete pre-employment medical and criminal history checks.
Desirable
- MR Licence (highly regarded).
- Trade qualification or relevant trade experience.
This position offers a supportive team environment, flexible working hours between 6:00am and 4:00pm across a four-day roster, and the opportunity to make a positive contribution to maintaining valued community infrastructure.
