Our client is a well-established contractor specialising in protective coatings across government, construction, mining, heavy industry, infrastructure, and utilities. With projects based throughout the North Brisbane area, they deliver quality coating solutions that protect critical assets in demanding environments while supporting a range of industrial and construction projects.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking two permanent Trades Assistants to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated and reliable individuals to develop their skills within the protective coatings industry while gaining hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals.
About the Role
Working alongside experienced applicators, you will assist with:
- Protective coating, painting, epoxy flooring, and cement rendering applications.
- Surface preparation, including concrete grinding and cutting.
- Safe handling of equipment, plant, and manual labour tasks.
- Maintaining a clean, organised worksite and complying with workplace health and safety requirements.
About You
Essential Requirements
- Current White Card (mandatory).
- Prior experience working in construction or a similar hands-on environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable transport and the ability to travel to various work sites.
- Flexibility to work across predominantly North Brisbane locations and other project sites as required.
Desirable
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) licence.
- Working at Heights certification.
- Confined Space certification.
- Experience in painting, rendering, protective coatings, or spray painting.
Transport Option
Candidates based in the Caboolture or Petrie areas may have access to company vehicle carpooling arrangements, where available.

- $32.00–$38.00 per hour + superannuation, based on desirable experience, skills, and relevant tickets.
