What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling to achieve a smooth, even finish
- Applying paint, varnish, and other protective coatings using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Operating and maintaining painting tools and equipment in safe working condition
- Protecting surrounding areas and fixtures using drop sheets, masking tape, and other protective coverings
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on all job sites
- Undertaking minor repairs and touch-ups as required
What we are looking for:
- Trade qualification – Painter and Decorator
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a qualified Painter in residential or commercial settings
- Current White Card (Construction Induction Card) or willingness to obtain one
- A valid driver’s licence and reliable access to transport
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and coating materials
- Proficiency with painting tools and equipment, including brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and sanders
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering superior quality finishes
What’s on Offer:
- 6:15am to 3:15pm – 76 hour working fortnight
- Competitive Hourly Rate – $57.74 p/hour plus superannuation
- Initially 20/10/2026 – 08/01/2027
